Apply the solarize effect to a single image: invert pixels above a configurable threshold for dramatic, surreal photographic styles.
About Solarize Effect
Solarize (sometimes called "Sabattier" or partial inversion) is a photographic effect where pixel values above a threshold are inverted, producing surreal and high-contrast results. This tool lets you control the inversion threshold and the blend amount so you can go from subtle film-like looks to dramatic surreal art.
How to Use
Upload an image using the Upload button
Adjust the threshold (0-255) to determine which pixels invert
Use Amount (0-100%) to blend between original and inverted pixels
Toggle "Use luminance threshold" to base inversion on brightness
Click "Apply Solarize" and download the result
Tips
Lower thresholds invert more of the image; higher thresholds invert only the brightest areas.
Use Amount less than 100% for subtle, partially inverted effects.
Use luminance mode for more photographic-style solarize effects; disable it for per-channel creative color inversions.
Try combining Solarize with slight contrast or brightness adjustments beforehand for more dramatic results.
