Understanding Conversion Settings

The conversion process uses image tracing with color quantization:

• Threshold: Determines which pixels are considered transparent (0-255). Lower values make more pixels transparent.
• Colors: The number of distinct colors in the output. Fewer colors create simpler, smaller SVG files but less detail. More colors preserve detail but create larger files.
• Blur: Applies a pre-processing blur to smooth sharp edges before conversion. Useful for reducing noise and creating cleaner paths.
• Smoothing: Controls how smooth the generated paths are. Higher values create smoother curves but may lose fine details.
